Rendance.org is being redesigned from the ground up. Please take a moment to help us determine what sort of site would be best for you. Questions marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.

For example you may consider yourself one or more of: dancer, scholar, teacher, researcher, student, musician, producer, reconstructor, choreographer, publisher, etc. List as many as you like, starting with the ones you consider most important to you.

There are many other subjects that can be considered to be related to Renaissance dance. Which ones should have their own sections on this website, assuming they are limited to the appropriate time period and the context of dance?

What groups do you think we should focus on supporting and creating content for?

The key things you would like to be able to do on the site. Some possibilities, e.g.: to post updates to a bibliography; to contribute reconstructions; to post information about your own work or performances; to research what has been said about a particular step or dance; to find performing groups in a particular area.

Please rate the importance of the following website functions from one to five, where one means not important and five means very important.

A searchable bibliography of primary and secondary source material.

Users will be able to log in to add and update their own entries.

An annotated bibliography of recorded music.

A web-based discussion forum. Ideally, this would be tied to the existing mailing list.

A way to purchase relevant books and music.

A knowledge base editable by the users of the site. Similar to wikipedia, but limited to relevant topics.

Other functions or content that you feel are important to have on the site.
